Gerald Tomlinson is a full–time freelance writer, editor and consultant specializing in the field of education, Gerald Tomlinson began his career as a teacher of English.  He has for the past 20 years held various editorial positions, including that of Executive Editor, in textbook and tradebook publishing.  Mr. Tomlinson has edited many well–known high school grammar and composition textbooks as well as books on educations, law, business, and sports.  Listed in Who′s Who in the East, Contemporary Authors, and The International Authors and Writers Who′s Who, he is a long–time member of the National Council of Teachers of English, the Society for American Baseball Research, and the Mystery Writers of America.
