Biographie de l'auteur

Judith S. VanAlstyne taught English at Broward Community College for thirty years and was an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University. She has served as an industry technical communications consultant and conducted technical writing workshops and seminars throughout three South Florida counties. Ms. VanAlstyne initiated the Technical Writing Curriculum and Certificate Program at Broward Community College. She has authored numerous graphic design texts, instructional videos for technical writing, and technical workshop/seminar workbooks. In addition to teaching expository and creative writing and literature courses, she introduced the technical writing course curriculum to a private college in Malaysia. She has also published literary criticism, travel articles, and poetry.

Merrill D. Tritt has been in the information technology and human resources fields for five years. He is currently a Human Resource Information Systems Analyst for Spherion Corporation. He is also a personal computer consultant in the South Florida tri-county area. In the past, he was an adjunct professor at Broward Community College, teaching computer-related courses. He is responsible for updating most of the graphics and artwork and has also submitted numerous professional papers for this fifth edition.
