Synopsis

This is the story of U2's early days in Dublin, their struggles to be heard against the anarchic sound of punk, their first recordings contract with Island records, their flirtation with fundamentalist Christianity and their triumph at "Live Aid" where they stole the show from the legends of rock music and established themselves as the driving musical force for a new generation.
