Synopsis

Richard Feynman, the best-loved scientist of modern times, is also one of the most famous. Physics for Feynman was fun, and he had the extraordinary gift of being able to describe it in such a way that other people could share in his understanding. John and Mary Gribbin have used his own writings, as well as books by people who knew and worked with him, to produce an engaging portrait of a fascinating man and a summary of the significant advances in physics this century.
