As well as her daily column in the Evening standard, Lindsey has also published a number of cookery books; In Praise of the Potato (1989), A Celebration of Soup (1993), Onions Without Tears (1995) all of whioch have appeared in Michael Joseph and are now available as part of the Penguin Cookery Library. She is also due to publish two further titles with MJ, Tomatoes (1998) and Fruits of the Vine (1999). She has established a good reputation in the cookery field and is based in Chiswick, London.
