In recent years Feynman's work on gravitation has become increasingly influential. These lectures are based on a course Feynman taught at Caltech during 1962-3. They present his insights into gravity and its application to cosmology, superstars, wormholes and gravitational waves. The lectures also contain a number of fascinating digressions on the foundations of physics and other issues.

Richard P. Feynman (1818-88) was one of this century's most brilliant and original thinkers. He taught at Cornell and the California Institute of Technology and received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work in quantum electrodynamics.
