Paperback. Etat : Good. Culture Shock (1991) by Michael Rosen ? Penguin Books Brought to you by Crappy Old Books ? home of the well-thumbed and slightly warped. In Culture Shock , poet, performer, and professional rabble-rouser Michael Rosen takes a wry look at the cultural battlegrounds of early ?90s Britain. With sharp wit and leftist bite, Rosen skewers everything from political doublespeak to class pretensions, all while defending the power of words, stories, and working-class voices. It?s part rant, part love letter to language?and still unnervingly relevant. This Penguin paperback has lived a life. Expect sun-faded pages, a curled cover, and the distinct aroma of Oxfam circa 2002. Crappy Old Books ? Because not every revolution comes gift-wrapped. Ex-library book from Gayton Library in Harrow.
