Matthew Sweeney lives in London WC1, and is currently completing his eighth book of poems (Cape,1997). Helen Dunmore lives in Bristol. She has published many collections of poetry with Bloodaxe, as well as several novels with Penguin, including A SPELL OF WINTER, which won the 1996 Orange Prize. Jo Shapcott is the only poet to have won the National Poetry Competition twice. She has published 2 collections (OUP and Bloodaxe) and lives in Kennington, London.
