Dinah, Lloyd and Harvey thought the Demon Headmaster was gone for good, so when they move back to their old house everything seems safe at first. Then strange things start to happen. Libraries are closing down, the internet keeps crashing, and telephones refuse to work. When people start to wear matching badges with a grabbing green hand, and begin speaking robotically, Dinah and the boys know they need to find out what's going on. Their search leads them to the Hyperbrain, a fantastic new computer invention that accesses the human brain to compile its data. Biographie de l'auteur
Gillian Cross was born in 1945, and has written more than 40 books for children. In the past, she has worked in a primary school, as an assistant to a village baker, as a childminder, and as an assistant to a member of parliament. Gillian is a huge supporter of libraries, and for eight years was a member of the committee which advises government ministers about public libraries. She now lives in Dorset with her husband and family, and enjoys playing the piano, orienteering, and reading in her spare time.
