À propos de l'auteur

GERALD DURRELL was born in 1925 in India. His family eventually settled on the island of Corfu, where he made a special study of zoology. Durrell dedicated his life to the preservation of wildlife. Encouraged to write by his novelist brother Lawrence, he published the first of many bestselling books THE OVERLOADED ARK in 1953. In 1982 he was awarded the OBE. He died in 1995.
