Allan Guthrie, geboren 1965 auf den Orkney-Inseln, ist der Shootingstar der britischen Krimiszene. Er lebt mit seiner Frau Donna in Edinburgh. Wenn er nicht schreibt, arbeitet er als Literaturagent. Zuletzt erschienen bei Rotbuch »Post Mortem« (2008) sowie in der Reihe Hard-Case-Crime »Abschied ohne Küsse« (2008).
