The book covers a variety of topics about the Frontier (Khyber Pukhtunkhwa) and its people. It outlines the geography of the province and describes the three major theories about the origin of the Pukhtuns and recounts the Pukhtun code of life―Pukhtu. Sultan-i-Rome is a life member of the Pakistan Historical Society and a sitting member of its Executive Committee. He is the author of more than fifty research articles in academic journals, books, anthologies, and proceedings, and two working papers.
