Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta work as an author and illustrator team, and are two of the most experienced and successful reading scheme creators in the world. The pair have both been honoured with MBEs: Roderick in 2008 for services to education, particularly literacy, and Alex in 2012 for services to children's literature. Roderick and Alex also achieved further success when they won the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2009 Education Resources Awards in recognition of their exceptional contribution to education over a 25 year period. Kate is an author, series editor, consultant and a teaching deputy head in a primary school in Suffolk. Annemarie is an author, publisher and editorial consultant in children's books and primary education.
