Synopsis

for SATB (with divisions) and piano
With a text by the composer, this piece is a heartfelt invitation to rejoice at the birth of Christ. Though an original piece, familiarity can be found in musical quotations from well-known carols, including In dulci jubilo and Angels we have heard on high. A fanfare-like piano opening makes way for a glittering accompaniment that complements shimmering harmonies in the choir.
