Synopsis

Grammar One is the first in a series of three books which provide extra grammar practice for pre-teenagers and young teenagers. The books can be used with any beginner's course and cover all the grammar required for the Cambridge Young Learners English Tests. In the Student's Book, simple dialogues and texts demonstrate the grammar in use. Short, clear 'Grammar lessons' present the rules and 'Words to learn' boxes highlight useful vocabulary. Written and oral exercises enable learners to practice the grammar and improve their accuracy and fluency. The new edition has been revised and updated, and has all new coloured illustrations. As well as the new 'Words to learn' boxes, there is a wordlist in each Student's Book. New revision sections provide even more practice. This Answer Book contains the answers to the exercises in Grammar One and five photocopiable tests (with answers). An audio CD is also included for use in class. This contains recordings of the dialogues and texts which begin each chapter as well as listening activities based on the exercises in the Students Book.
