This large, fat paperback sociology textbook is "An Introduction to Urban Studies" and this copy is in good condition. This is a twelfth printing. The covers are shiny with minor wear on the faces and a little around the edges. The spine is tight with a few light creases showing. The pages are white with little wear. There is some pen underlining in the later chapters and a few margin marks. There is a name inside the front cover. 17 chapters are offered in six parts: An Invitation to the City; Polis, Metropolis, Megalopolis; Rules of the Game; Who Runs This Town?; Space and Place; and Paying Their Way. 540 pages with some biographies in the back plus a detailed index.
