Synopsis
This book details the life experiences of two important Nepalese, Tanka Prasad Acharya and his wife Rewanta Kumari. It is the story of his campaign against the autocratic Rana regime and for the cause of democracy in Nepal. It is also Rewanta Kumari's story who aided her husband and bravely kept the family together during the years of oppression. This book is intended for scholars and students of social anthropology, sociology, politics and history of South Asia, particularly Nepal.

This is his story of a crusade against the autocratic Rana regime; and of Rewanta Kumari's struggle to keep the family together during the years of oppression and to keep alive her husband's efforts of bringing an end to the rule of the Ranas.
