Late Suresh D. Tendulkar taught at the Delhi School of Economics till his retirement in 2004. He was Chairman, National Statistical Commission and Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, Government of India. T.A. Bhavani is Professor of Economics, Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi.
