Reeve, R. H. Rouse, R. J. Tarrant, M. Winterbottom and others. Hardcover in dark blue cloth with gilt spine lettering and the Oxford device, in the original pale blue dust jacket. A very good copy in a good jacket: the jacket has a small tear and light chipping at the upper left corner of the front panel, light soiling and a faint crease to the rear panel, and noticeable tanning along the flap folds and turn-ins. Internally the text is clean and unmarked throughout and the binding is tight and square, with light toning and a few small spots to the top edge; a previous owner has signed and dated the front free endpaper in ink (16.9.86), with a small pencilled shelf notation alongside.
