This is an annual publication representing the state of the art in humanities computing. Each volume contains a selection of papers presented at the joint annual conference of the Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH), based in North America, and the Association for Literary and Linguistic Computing (ALLC), based in Europe. These are two major associations for the use of computers in scholarly research and teaching in a wide range of humanities disciplines including languages, literature, history, philosophy, art, archaeology and music.
