Revue de presse

`This could be one of the most important works in logic to appear in recent years. Bealer's thesis is simple yet challenging ... The arguments are presented with the utmost lucidity, rigor, and clarity. It is a beautiful, albeit quite difficult, book whose thesis must be confronted by logicians and mathematicians.' Choice

`It is a long time since I have read a book on philosophical logic that gave me such a feeling of adventure and excitment.' Donald David
