Synopsis
Jackdaws anthologies offer a challenge for competent and mature readers. Each of the titles are made up of different text types with a shared thematic topic. Each title combines fiction and non-fiction in the form of a fast-moving adventure tale, information text in a fact file, and a traditional tale or myth. Each anthology is illustrated with a variety of lively artwork and photographs. All anthologies are coded according to the Book Bands system. Help with children's reading development is also available at www.oxford.co.uk. This book is also available as part of a mixed pack of 6 different books or a class pack of 36 books of the same Oxford Reading Tree level.
