Gill Munton is an experienced author and editor of early reading material, fiction and non-fiction, and has contributed to many leading reading schemes. Specialising in writing lively, fluent texts with a clear phonic structure, she has already written extensively for RWI. Ruth Miskin is currently involved in a series of nationwide training programmes for primary schools. Channel 4 filmed Ruth Miskin working in a failing school, using the RWI programme, to raise standards and turn struggling and non-readers into more confident and competent readers.
