This book provides the undergraduate student with a comprehensive, full colour, step-by-step guide to endodontics. It covers the principles and practice of endodontics and is presented in a simple, no-nonsense style that will help to demystify this essential aspect of the clinical practice of dentistry. Broken down into three sections, the first section covers the essential theory; the second is concerned with the practicalities and, most importantly, provides base level criteria for success in the various aspects of treatment. The final section provides a selection of questions and answers based on clinical scenarios that explore the application of preceding sections. These three distinct, but related, sections are colour-coded to encourage the reader to move between areas of interest. This book will prove to be an essential guide to understanding endodontics in clinical practice.

The book is well illustrated, well indexed and references have been left out of the main text and grouped together in a separate section; the result is uncluttered, easy-read text. This is a very welcome addition to the field and is destined to be very popular and deservedly so. (International Orthodontic Journal, 2008)
This is a very well written book which has a modern and fresh approach. Each section is presented in an easy to understand fashion, with the use of uncomplicated language and a clear logical sequence evident throughout. It is clear the authors have succeeded in producing a textbook which explains a difficult subject matter with relative ease and clarity. Dental students will find this book an excellent resource during undergraduate endodontic training but this book would also make an ideal refresher textbook for experienced practitioners and a revision aid for graduates undertaking postgraduate examinations ie MFDS. (British Dental Journal, November 2006)
Anyone looking for an authoritative and comprehensive revision text covering all aspects of endodontics need look no further. (BDA News Book of the Month, March 2006)
