Just because a book is small, doesn't necessarily mean it is any less useful than a book 10 times its size. Indeed, in this particular instance, Medical Emergencies in Dentistry's size - a 150-page paperback that would easily fit into most pockets - is a positive advantage...dentists could keep this book on their persons, not necessarily at all times of course, but for when they suspect they might have some 'dead time' to fill productively.
