TreeTops True Stories are exciting, motivating non-fiction books which will broaden your pupils' reading experience. They are part of a structured reading programme for juniors. A personal and direct account of the major events in the life of Nelson Mandela, told from the perspective of a contemporary of Mandela's. The account is narrated to the storyteller's grandson, Andile. Written by broadsheet journalist and South African affairs specialist, Denis Herbstein, the book is full of fantastic full-colour photos and artwork. Books contain inside cover notes to support children in their reading. Help with childrens reading development also available at www.oxfordowl.co.uk.
