Synopsis
Learning Legal Rules brings together the theory, structure, and practice of legal reasoning in a readily accessible style. The book explains how to uncover and exploit the mysteries of legal materials. Throughout the book the authors also examine the importance of human rights and the permeating influence of EC. The seventh edition of this well-established text has been fully updated and includes a new chapter on legal writing to help students prepare for their essays and exams. In line with modern teaching practices, there is further guidance on the use of online legal resources, while the material on the accompanying web site has also been expanded.
