This is the fourth edition of the most comprehensive and authoritative dictionary of ecology available. Michael Allaby has written many books on environmental science, including the Encyclopedia of Weather and Climate and the Climate Handbook. He is the general editor of the Oxford dictionaries of Ecology, Zoology, and Plant Sciences, and author of A Dictionary of Earth Sciences.
