With a strong emphasis on application—without neglecting research and science—this text focuses on helping students use the findings and knowledge of psychology throughout their own lives and careers.
As the only introductory psychology text written by authors with extensive business experience, Baron and Kalsher's Psychology: From Science to Practice seeks the ideal balance between psychology's practical and scientific sides. It highlights psychology's scientific nature while simultaneously emphasizing its practical value—how students can actually use and apply the material they read outside of the classroom.

Praise from Reviewers:
“I love the idea of highlighting day to day applications for an introductory psychology class. Give the students the information they can use and apply to better their understanding of self and others.”
—Vicki Dretchen, Volunteer State Community College
“The practical down-to-earth use of examples is very appropriate, and from my point of view the right way to introduce and explain psychology and its usefulness in everyone's day to day activities.”
—Christian Fosse-Andersen, Devry South Florida Campus
