Dr. Sylvain Coderre grew up and trained in Ottawa, before moving to Calgary to start his medical practice in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He lives in Calgary with his wife and three children. He has always been a sports nut, and spends his leisure time curling, speed skating and coaching softball. Sylvain is a keen amateur poet and lyric writer. Professionally, he has written countless documents as part of his medical school teaching and administrative positions. Carrying Capacity is his first novel.
