William E. Wallace is an internationally recognized authority on Michelangelo. He is the author or editor of seven books on Michelangelo, including the award-winning Michelangelo: The Complete Sculpture, Painting and Architecture. He was among those experts consulted by the Vatican over the restoration of the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
