SUSAN HILL has been a professional author for over 50 years and published over 50 books including fiction, autobiography and children's books. She has been a judge of numerous literary prizes, broadcasts, reviews books and writes for various periodicals. The play based on her best selling ghost story THE WOMAN IN BLACK has been running in London's West End since 1988. She was made a CBE for services to literature in 2012. Susan Hill was born and brought up in North Yorkshire and now lives in North Norfolk, has two daughters and one grand-daughter.
