What, then, is the value of a faithful minister of the Gospel? This question is exceedingly pertinent at this day, while so many crazy-brained men are running to and fro, and decrying the clerical profession; and while so many, of more sanity and honesty, are being thereby jost led in their faith and made to hold, even the organic chris tian church itself, under suspicion. But so it is that every age has its remarkable phenomena. We have no good reason for thinking the present shall form an exception to the general rule.
