Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book acts as a sequel to the author's Normal Music Course, providing in-depth instruction on the teaching of first-year and second-year elementary music. It is the second volume of a series of three books that combine the theoretical and practical with a comprehensive analysis of musical subjects. This volume focuses on vocal music education and includes sections on chromatic intervals, harmonies, scales, notation and more. The book includes not only an analytical breakdown of musical theory but also a meticulously curated collection of melodies, songs, and teaching exercises designed to facilitate the practical application of the knowledge gained. These exercises and songs range from traditional folk songs to the author's own original compositions and come with the added benefit of a series of lesson plans for their use. The addition of classic children's poems set to music by notable composers ensures that this volume has wide-ranging appeal. While firmly rooted in the traditions of music education, the pedagogical approach in this book is innovative and progressive. There is a particular focus on developing a mastery of minor modes in students and the inclusion of songs and exercises preparatory to the instruction of three-part singing techniques in later books of the series. Overall, this pedagogical resource is significant as it not only provides a thorough technical grounding in musical theory and practice, but also ensures that vocal music teaching is delivered in a structured and accessible manner, engaging students throughout the learning process. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N de rf. du vendeur 9780243497102_0
