Este Monge vivia en los mis mos tiempos de la Reyna, y la habia visto y tratado en las diversas ocasiones que habia es tado en Sahagun; y ya por esto ya por la qua lidad respetable de su estado religioso merece mucha consideracion el juicio que formó y que escribro quando pasaban los mismos hechos 6 muy poco despues no es de ménos considera cion el Autor de la Historia Compostelana su geto imparcial como lo hace ver el Maestro Florez (r) y que al mismo tiempo que nos re fiere las desavenencias de esta Reyna con su Ar zobispo Don Diego Gelmirez no nos oculta las extravagancias de su carácter ni nos calla las hablillas que sobre su conducta se habian espar cido y corrían en el público.
