Excerpt from The Home Mission Monthly, Vol. 32: May, 1918

As I looked into their eager faces, and then turned to the little lady who presided with all the grace and dignity of generations of ture, my mind went back to those dirty, vermin-infested savages of nearly a half century before, and again I thought, What hath God wrought!
