In den meisten Experimenten fuhrte ich das Thermo meter in der soeben beschriebenen Weise ein. In einer grossen Zahl von Fällen wurde absichtlich das Gehirn im Gyrus centralis posterior verletzt. Ich werde später die Gründe anführen, die mich hierzu veranlassten. Das Thermometer durchdrang den oberen Theil des Gehirns in transversaler Richtung, von Gyrus centralis posterior über das Corpus callosum verlaufend, und machte in der Win dung Halt, die hinter dem sulcus cruciatus der entgegengesetzten Seite liegt.
