Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book is an exhaustive 19th century treatise on ophthalmology. It covers in depth the anatomy and function of the eyes, as well as various ocular diseases and their treatments. The author explores how the eyes interact to provide binocular vision and discusses the physical and physiological visual phenomena. He explains how the eye adjusts to different distances, the causes and symptoms of abnormal vision, and the prognosis and treatment of various eye conditions. He emphasizes the importance of the fth cranial nerve to vision, and suggests that the retina acts as one pole of a voltaic circuit with the muscles acting as the opposite pole. This book would be of great interest to anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of the eyes and vision. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9780260200150_0
