Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book describes a 20-bit, sign-magnitude, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with less than 1 part per million (ppm) linearity error. The DAC is based on an R-2R ladder network switched by latching relays with mercury-wetted contacts. The author presents techniques for minimizing errors due to relay thermal emfs, implementing a self-calibration of linearity errors, and obtaining optional coding formats. The book also discusses calibration techniques and presents representative calibration data. The self-calibration feature allows the linearity of the eight most significant bits to be measured and adjusted if necessary, making this DAC suitable for high-precision applications such as digital voltmeters and data acquisition systems. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9780260962096_0
