Nice copy of this scarce study examining the role that signage and lighting play in shaping urban environments- vividly illustrated with maps, diagrams, and black and white photography - exploring how signs and lights influence city aesthetics, public safety, way-finding, and the overall experience of urban spaces. Softcover, 272 pgs. Binding solid and square. Interior clean, lightly age toned, unmarked other than a small signature on the first free end paper, which has two tiny pen marks. Covers have some rubbing and scuffing, with particularly noticeable rubbing along some of the edges. There is a shallow crease to the bottom corner of the front cover, and deeper crease to the back cover corner. A handful of scratches to front and back, particularly seen under bright light.
