Synopsis
This text reasserts an understanding of and belief in an obejective God. At a time when post-modern assumptions are being made which challenge the integrity of a real God, this text offers the opportunity to explore new ways of thinking about God's relations to the world whilst avoiding more traditional images which often carry oppressive connotations. The author recognizes the need for contemporary Christians to colour God in their own way through their own interpretation of the Church's teaching, and argues that it is a real God who reveals himself and continues to unify Christian belief.
