Come si vede, l''utopia è diventata un Idea, che ha virtù di ri chiamare l''attenzione e lo studio di quanti si occupano dell''inse e noi, che da lunghi anni ne siamo fermi e convinti propugnatori per le ragioni che esponemmo nella prefazione alla 18 edizione di questo libro, ed alle quali non abbiamo da aggiun gere nè togliere una sillaba, ci sentiamo assai soddisfatti pensando che il nostro modesto lavoro abbia cooperato a raggiungere questo intento, e siamo orgogliosi che un''opera di questo genere, fatta senza la falsariga dei programmi ministeriali, abbia avuto l''onore di giungere ad una 2° edizione.
In questa nuova edizione abbiamo poco cambiato dell''antica. Trasportando in principio il postulato di Archimede abbiamo potuto dimostrare il postulato dell'' invertibilità di un segmento, di un an gelo e di un diedro, e quello dello scorrimento del diedro, seguendo la via tracciata dal signor Gérard.
