In plates I, II, III and IV, I present the outline fig ure of the man subdivided into sections from which we get the proportions to work from. On plate I is shown the front w and on plate II the back w of the figure. It shows the skeleton or bone structure with the flesh developments. It will be noted that the height is divided into eight parts, four parts for the upper part of the body and four parts for the lower part of the body. It will also be noted that the pel bone extends down below the half section of the height of the body.
