Kenneth Lysons is a graduate of three universities and also possesses a number of diplomas and professional qualifications. After ten years individual experience he held a number of senior educational appointments and examinerships. He now works as a consultant specialising in the fields of purchasing and human relations management. He has written extensively in management subjects.

Michael Gillingham holds a number of degrees and postgraduate qualifications, as well as having thirty years professional experience in purchasing and supply. His areas of interest include international purchasing and purchasing strategy. He is currently a senior lecturer at Thames Valley University, London.
