Alan Harrison is Professor of Operations and Logistics at Cranfield School of Management, and Director of Research at Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Transportation.

Remko van Hoek is Professor of Supply Chain Management at Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Transportation. He is also Managing Director of the Operations Management Roundtable at the Corporate Executive Board, based in Washington D.C., USA.
