Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book, a profound and detailed analysis of appendicitis, provides distinct insights into this condition and its profound impact on the medical understanding throughout history. The author challenges the prevailing belief that appendicitis is primarily a result of inflammation of the cecum, which has led to a century and a half of misguided diagnosis and treatment, offering instead a compelling case for appendicitis as an inflammatory condition originating in the appendix itself. Through meticulous documentation and analysis of hundreds of cases, the author establishes a pattern of symptoms unique to appendicitis, distinct from the typical symptoms of cecum inflammation, demonstrating that appendicitis has often been misdiagnosed as a condition of the cecum. This book is a transformative contribution to the medical understanding of appendicitis, offering a new framework for diagnosis and treatment and correcting a century and a half of medical misunderstanding. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N de rf. du vendeur 9780282329686_0
