While the translator wishes it distinctly understood that he in no wise stands sponsor for Dr. Gallavardin''s statements, he believes that the author''s acknowledged ability and the inter national reputation he has earned by long years of study, experience and literary labors, as well as the intrinsic importance of the sub ject, whether viewed from the standpoint of therapeutics, economics or morals, should and will command the respectful attention and study of all thoughtful homoeopathists.
