Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the development and practical applications of the audion, a groundbreaking device that revolutionized radiotelegraphy and radiotelephony. The author traces the history of the audion, from its origins in early experiments on electron emission to its role as a key component in vacuum tubes and other electronic devices. Beyond its historical significance, the book examines the fundamental principles behind the audion's operation. It explores the role of electron theory in understanding its behavior and discusses the various types of audions, including kenotrons, pliotrons, dynatrons, and pliodynatrons. The author provides detailed explanations of the functions and applications of each audion type, from their use as detectors and amplifiers in radio receivers to their role as oscillators in transmitters. The book also discusses the concept of regenerative amplification, heterodyne reception, and the use of audions in radiotelephony. Throughout the book, the author emphasizes the importance of the audion in the development of wireless communication. By providing a comprehensive overview of the audion's history, principles, and applications, this book offers valuable insights into the evolution of electronics and its impact on modern technology. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N de rf. du vendeur 9780282988777_0
