The boards are firm and flat and clean and with slightly worn spine ends. The end papers are white and the rear paste down has the letter 'D' in black crayon. The text block is tightly bound, straight and unmarked. There is a black and white image of Horrocks on frontispiece and black and white drawings, photos and maps in the text. Near fine condition. With very good plus yellow and red pictorial dust jacket with black and white image of a soldier and a crest with dark titles.
