William Storandt is a freelance writer in Branford, Connecticut, whose first novel will be published in the spring of 2002. He has contributed sailing articles to Cruising World magazine for twenty years. Now a writing tutor in the Bass Writing Program at Yale University, his early employment included playing tambourine for the Monkees.
